Range & Habitat: The Atlantic croaker is found on the Atlantic coast – south from Massachusetts and in the Gulf of Mexico. They spend time near shore in estuaries and bays during the warmer months, then move further offshore in the colder months.
Identification & Biology: Atlantic Croaker are on the smaller side (averaging 2 lbs) and have short barbels on their chins
