Caranx hippos

The largest member of the jack family, these schooling fish can grow up to 5 feet long! Although they have a pretty wide range, crevalle jack aren’t a big commercial target. Most people know them as a sport fishing favorite, but they are harvested commercially throughout the year in southwest Florida and the Gulf of Mexico.
